Professional Statement
My approach to medicine is based around the concept of first doing no harm. Medicine can cure sometimes and prevent often but adverse effects and costs are always a consideration.

I am by nature a methodical, quiet, cautious person. To paraphrase Epictetus, I have two ears and one mouth so that I can listen more than I speak. I prefer to give patients the time they need to be heard and to assess them thoroughly.
I endeavor to practice in a patient centred fashion- I can provide information and recommendations, but it is ultimately the patient's choice as it is their life. Just as I will not try to force a patient to do something they disagree with, I expect the same consideration in return.
